The Hollywood Reporter has announced that The Hangover Part II is tracking so well it may be on it's way to opening at or above $100 million, which would set an all time record for an R-rated film.

Because of the Memorial Day Weekend, the film, which reunites stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, and Justin Bartha, has the advantage of an extra day.

It even higher pre-interest scores than Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which claimed $90.1 million in pirate booty domestically over the weekend.

The last film that opened to $100 million or more was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I which conjured up a magical $125 million, but that film wasn't R-rated.

If you recall the original Hangover is the highest grossing R-rated comedy of all time, laughing it's way to $277.3 million domestically.

So I for one wouldn't be surprised to see The Hangover 2 break more than a few teeth- I mean records- during it's run. How bout you?
